How to Install Opera 40 on Ubuntu 16.04 and Integrates Free Unlimited VPN

    Opera 40 with our new free, unlimited, no-log browser VPN service. With this launch, Opera becomes the first major browser to release a built-in VPN service. When turned on, the browser VPN creates a secure connection to one of Opera’s five server locations around the world.

How to install Opera 40 Ubuntu 16.04

Open terminal and insert command line...

32Bit OS download the deb package installer and install
$ wget http://download4.operacdn.com/ftp/pub/opera/desktop/40.0.2308.62/linux/opera-stable_40.0.2308.62_i386.deb

$ sudo apt install apt-transport-https libcurl3

$ sudo dpkg -i opera-stable*.deb

64Bit OS download the deb package installer and install

$ wget http://download4.operacdn.com/ftp/pub/opera/desktop/40.0.2308.62/linux/opera-stable_40.0.2308.62_amd64.deb

$ sudo apt install apt-transport-https libcurl3

$ sudo dpkg -i opera-stable*.deb

Set up Virtual Private Network Access in Opera 40
    To establish a virtual private network connection, go to Edit > Preferences > Privacy & Security. Scroll down a little bit and check Enable VPN.
