Open terminal and insert command line...

$ wget http://download4.operacdn.com/ftp/pub/opera/desktop/40.0.2308.62/linux/opera-stable_40.0.2308.62_i386.deb $ sudo apt install apt-transport-https libcurl3 $ sudo dpkg -i opera-stable*.deb

64Bit OS download the deb package installer and install

$ wget http://download4.operacdn.com/ftp/pub/opera/desktop/40.0.2308.62/linux/opera-stable_40.0.2308.62_amd64.deb $ sudo apt install apt-transport-https libcurl3 $ sudo dpkg -i opera-stable*.deb

Set up Virtual Private Network Access in Opera 40
    To establish a virtual private network connection, go to Edit > Preferences > Privacy & Security. Scroll down a little bit and check Enable VPN.
